Working closely with Japanese craftsmen in Los Angeles and Tokyo, the restaurant is an assemblage of buildings arranged around a traditional Japanese garden. Making space that is a trancendent moment of time, light and matter. Spaces are intimate and interweave to form a diverse collection of dining experiences, from secluded booths and garden terrace seating, to traditional private dining rooms. All traditional building materials were brought from Japan, including stone, tile roofs, wood beams from disassembled farm houses, and custom designed light fixtures.
